The process is quite simple, really. There’s a short web form here that asks you for a bit of information. Once I’ve got it, I’ll email you directly with my rates and we will decide together on a date and time for a 15 minute, absolutely free “get to know you” session so we can further determine your needs. After that, we’ll decide on a date and time for a full podcasting consultation. We’ll both sign an agreement (part of the rate sheet PDF that you’ll receive), and payment is due in advance of our scheduled time. On the day and time of the appointment, we will connect on Skype or by phone. Shortly after the consulting call, I will provide you with a recording of our call.

I’ve got two ways you can earn some free one-on-one consulting time with me.

On the first of each month, I make a list of everyone who called into Be a Better Podcaster with a question or comment and I pull a name at random to win a free one-hour consult with me. Here are the rules:

• Callers must include their name and either an email address or a Twitter name in the voicemail. Email addresses will be masked when the voicemail is played on the Be a Better Podcaster show.
• There must be a minimum of five entrants for the drawing to happen, so tell your friends.
• Winners must schedule and complete their free consultation during that same month.

For example: episodes produced in March. On April 1st, I will draw a name from among those who contributed to the show during March, and that winner will get a free hour of consulting with me during the month of April.
